Here is a Take Home Packet for Kindergarten!!!
With schools closing down and many students now needing to learn from home for the next couple of weeks, I wanted to share this resource with you all!
This Packet is designed as a review for kindergarten students as they stay home from school. There are 15 days of language arts and 15 days of math to keep them practicing so they are experts when they return back to school.
I know this isn’t ideal, but we will get through this together!
Skills that are included in this kindergarten take home packet are…
Language Arts
-Beginning letter sounds
-Short vowels a, e, i, o, u
-Syllables
-Short vowel sentences
-Long vowels a, e, i, o, u
Math
-Numbers 11-20
-Addition
-Subtraction
-Meaurment with nonstandard units
-Telling time to the hour and quarter hour
Each Day is labeled to keep them organized!
I hope this packet can help parents, teachers, and students during this challenging time. What we want to avoid is the “summer slump” while students are out of school. Practice like this at home will keep their minds on academic content and will help them to keep growing.
